Yes, Raices is the ultimate seaside shack, but don’t let that fool you – the food is delicious.
Another great guacamole on my quest to find the perfect one.

Later we ordered dinner. Caribbean lobsters don’t have pincers – but are as tasty as our Canadian Atlantic ones. At least, this one was.
Oh yes, palates were definitely pleased with tender and perfectly grilled lobster meat.
No, this is not the sequel to Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘The Birds’ but Raices, where gulls hang out, enjoy the beach, and get high on fish scraps. Just part of the great ambiance of this location.
Yes, the food eventually arrives, but everything is caught daily, cleaned, and cooked fresh on site in a beach-side grill kitchen. This is food worth waiting for and besides have a couple of cold ones – you will enjoy the beachfront activity.
